Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies alumna, Brenna Hughes, was recently named a MedWatch Today, Healthcare Hero for her work in the Acute Care Speech-Language Pathology Department at Community Regional Hospital. In addition to that, Hughes also received the Louis M. DeCarlo Award for Outstanding Clinical Achievement by the California Speech-Language Hearing Association – an honor reserved only for the best in the state.
