About

The College of Health and Human Services at Fresno State empowers students to take a whole body approach to improving the quality of life, with faculty and students who are dedicated to helping Central California Live Well. There are seven academic departments within our College, including: Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Public Health, Recreation Administration, School of Nursing and Social Work Education and Gerontology.

Our college is also home to various research centers and institutes, including the Central California Center for Health and Human Services, The Central California Center for Excellence in Nursing, the Central California Children’s Institute, the Central Valley Health Policy Institute, the Central California Sports Science Institute and the Central California Social Welfare Evaluation, Research and Training Center.
