A handful of CHHS students were among the 96 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Mountain West Team for the spring 2017 semester. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.0 G.P.A. or better and played a significant role in their athletic team.

Among that list, 20 received the Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors – reserved for those that maintained a 3.5 G.P.A. or better and played in a varsity competition.

Fresno State tied with Wyoming as having the third most Academic All-Mountain West team selections.

Earlier this semester, members of the women’s swimming and diving team were recognized in the Fresno Bee for their exemplary academic and athletic performance , including nursing major, Shelbie Holden, and Speech-Language Pathology graduate student, Hailee Baldwin – both of whom received 4.0 G.P.A.’s.
