The Department of Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies has launched its new clinic, Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS), which provides social skills training and intervention for youth, 14 to young adult. The evidence-based clinic is available to those with social challenges, such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression or other socioemotional problems. Meeting in a group setting, the clinic helps teens and young adults, who struggle to make and keep friends, maintain those relationships.

The clinic is $35 per semester (12 weeks) and is facilitated by graduate clinicians at Fresno State, as well as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The clinic will meet on Tuesdays throughout the fall 2017 semester from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic on campus. Enrollment for the fall semester is available now at the link or by contacting 559.278.2422.
