Speech-Language Pathology senior, Maeghan Pershall, cares about her peers and their success, which is why she chose to become a peer mentor through the College of Health and Human Services’ Advising and Career Development Center. As one of four peer mentors in the college, Pershall works one-on-one with up to 75 freshmans to ensure they have the tools to succeed.
In addition to being a mentor, Pershall is also involved in the college’s Honors Program in Collaborative Leadership and Fresno State’s National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association. Just recently, she returned from a service-learning trip to Fiji where she assisted residents in building a sanitation system. Learn more about Pershall by viewing the video above!
