This Saturday calls for sunny skies and perfect weather to come out and support the Sport Psychology Club at their fourth annual Super Fun Super Run 5K happening March 12th! Students in the club, based out of the Department of Kinesiology, are encouraging participants to come dressed as their favorite super hero. Prizes will be awarded for best costume. The top finishers of the race will also be awarded!
Proceeds from the 5k will be used to raise funds for the club’s annual Mental Skills Training Camp for local high school athletes. This year the club is serving as Wounded Warrior Project Student Ambassadors and will donate half of their proceeds back to the Wounded Warriors Project.
The 5K kicks off at 6:30 a.m. with registration, located just outside of the North Gym. The 5k, which begins at 8 a.m.,will lead participants on course circling the center of the Fresno State campus.
