Would you believe Dean Jody Hironaka-Juteau, the daughter of an Air Force airman and education teacher, dealt with struggles in school in her earlier years? She would later overcome those obstacles to earn her master’s degree in Education and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Change.

Jody can also play the saxophone, and played it regularly in junior and high school – where she was drum major for two years! Rumor has it, she is not too bad with the guitar either.

She and her husband Marc have two children in college, one of which attends Fresno State and is majoring in the same discipline as she did – Recreation Administration! Jody received her bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Fresno State and considers herself a proud alumna.
