On the evening of March 5th, the Henry Madden Library was bustling with excitement as students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy’s class of 2015 presented their research projects at the first annual Doctor of Physical Therapy Evidence Based Research Symposium. Taking place in four different rooms, each of the 32 students were able to speak about their applied research or evidence-based reviews. It was a special event that brought together students, faculty, alumni and Valley clinicians. For some students, it was a chance to showcase their years of academic success to their family who were in attendance.

This symposium serves as the culmination to their three years of hard work in the challenging DPT program. Each of the students will now go on to spend the rest of the semester at their respective clinical sites. They will all once again join together on May 15, as the inaugural DPT class is set to graduate and begin their careers as physical therapists. We couldn’t be more proud of these dedicated group of Live Well leaders!
