Congratulations to our fall 2014 nursing graduates! This fantastic group of 59 Live Well leaders from the Fresno State School of Nursing completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree and were recognized during the annual School of Nursing Pinning Ceremony, held on December 20th at Fresno State’s Satellite Student Union.

The pinning ceremony serves as a symbolic celebration of the completion of the required education needed to become a registered nurse. These graduates have spent the last three years honing their clinical nursing skills and are now ready to begin their careers and/or pursue higher education in the area of nursing.

The next step for the graduates is to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) – an exam required of all entry-level nurses. They also have the option of advancing their education at the School of Nursing, which offers a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) all the way up to a doctoral degree, through its Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) Program.

Graduates of our programs in Nursing enjoy the reputation of excellence in health care delivery among employers and nurse leaders. Congratulations and best wishes to all our graduates as they purse their academic and career goals! For more information on the Fresno State School of Nursing, visit their website.
