The Fresno State Athletic Training Education Program recently wrapped up their 3-day in-service training to get their athletic training students geared up for the new semester, which is only a week and a half away at this point! Program Director Scott Sailor said this in-service provides incoming and 2nd year athletic training students the opportunity to learn new curriculum and network with each other, in preparation for the beginning of their clinical experience this fall semester.

The 42 undergraduate students in the program will work with each of the many Fresno State athletic teams to complete their clinical hours. Here, the students are demonstrating the Jav Stretch (which targets the lower extremities) and spine boarding, used in cases of spinal injuries. Awesome job to all of these future athletic trainers!
